Aggie NorMin backs Serbisyo Caravan, Former Rebels Summit 2025 thru veggie seeds distribution

OROQUIETA CITY, MISAMIS OCCIDENTAL – Committed to empower communities and promote sustainable livelihood, the Department of Agriculture – Regional Field Office 10 (DA-RFO 10) joins the Serbisyo Caravan and Former Rebels Summit 2025 on September 30, held at the Asenso Misamis Occidental Sports and Cultural Center, this city.

The said initiative forms part of the celebration of the National Peace Consciousness Month this September, wherein the 10th Infantry Battalion partners with different government agencies and the provincial government of Misamis Occidental to bring essential government services closer to over 300 former rebels.

For DA, Provincial Operations Center (POC) Chief for Misamis Occidental Engr. Bryan R. Cubita presented the programs and services of the department, highlighting the agency’s support for food security, livelihood development, and agricultural productivity.

Additionally, the agency distributed 5-in-1 Pinakbet seed packets along with information, education, and communication (IEC) materials to support local food production and provide practical farming guides.

Through said interventions, DA reaffirms its commitment of achieving food security to ensure access to affordable and nutritious food and foster sustainable peace and development. #(AMBM/Photos supplied)
