Agri-NorMin OA program ramps up mechanized organic agri support for NMACLRC

MALAYBALAY CITY, BUKIDNON – The Department of Agriculture – Regional Field Office 10 (DA-RFO 10), through its Organic Agriculture (OA) Program strengthen its support to the Northern Mindanao Agricultural Crops and Livestock Research Complex (NMACLRC) in its drive to advance organic farming initiatives and boost agricultural output with the turnover of agricultural interventions on January 30, 2026, here.

The intervention consisted of organic fertilizer building valued at Php 496K, 1 unit of tractor worth Php 1.5 million. These resources are intended to improve farm operations at the NMACLRC and reinforce its function as a hub for agricultural research and farmers training to champion the adoption of organic farming technologies across Northern Mindanao.

In addition, the Corn program also entrusted the station with 1 unit combine harvester amounting to Php 2.4 million to support the corn production.

This supports the current administration’s commitment to advancing mechanization in organic agriculture, improve local producers’ efficiency, lower production costs, and enhance the competitiveness of their agricultural products. #(NQA/Supplied Photos)
