DA-10 accredits CSOs to strengthen agri-fishery projects in NorMin
CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY — To strengthen partnerships with grassroots organizations and promote the transparent implementation of agricultural initiatives, the Department of Agriculture – Regional Field Office 10 (DA-10) awarded Certificates of Accreditation to five Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) on Monday, July 7, at the agency compound, here.
DA-10 Regional Executive Director Jose Apollo Y. Pacamalan led the turnover of accreditation certificates to MSU-IIT National Multipurpose Cooperative (MPC) of Iligan City; JOBNET MPC of Medina, Misamis Oriental; NAGPAKABANA MPC of Catarman, Camiguin; Dasig Agriculture Cooperative of Gingoog City, Misamis Oriental; and the Oroquieta City Agriculture Cooperative of Misamis Occidental.
Pursuant to DA Administrative Circular No. 03, Series of 2022, the accreditation formally recognizes the recipient cooperatives as eligible partners of DA-10 in executing various agriculture and fishery programs, projects, and activities across Northern Mindanao.

Through these partnerships, DA-10 aims to bolster collaboration with organized groups, enabling them to act as implementing or beneficiary CSOs in the delivery of DA agricultural programs and services that benefit farming and fishing communities within their respective areas of operation.
The issued certificates are valid for five-years from the date of issuance unless revoked or cancelled in accordance with the provision of the Circular and other applicable government rules and regulations.
With these newly accredited partners on board, DA-10 anticipates a more efficient and community-driven delivery of agriculture and fishery-related interventions to further empower farmers and fisherfolk across the region.# (JPC)
