PAFFP reaches three more Bukidnon towns, benefiting over 9k farmers
“Naay mga panahon nga magpa-labor ko sa akong uma nga mogasto ko og PhP300.00 matag laborer sa matag adlaw. Apan karon, ako na lang mismo ang nagdumala sa akong uma aron makamenos sa gasto. Kining assistance gikan sa gobyerno dako kaayong tabang kay magamit nako sa pagpalit og abono ug pangdugang sa panglabor. Dako gyud akong pasalamat sa DA,” said beneficiary Ayuhan A. Rosaceña, a corn farmer from Purok 6, Brgy. Capihan, Libona, Bukidnon, sharing how the assistance will help ease his farming expenses.
Government assistance continues to reach more farming communities in Bukidnon as the Presidential Assistance to Farmers and Fisherfolk Program (PAFFP), implemented by the Department of Agriculture – Regional Field Office 10 (DA-10), in partnership with the respective Local Government Units (LGUs), expanded its coverage to the towns of Kalilangan, Libona, and Baungon on July 30 to 31, benefiting 9,113 eligible farmers.

On July 30, 5,661 farmers in Kalilangan each received Php2,325.00 in financial assistance. Simultaneous payouts on July 31 also benefited 1,885 farmers in Libona and 1,567 farmers in Baungon.
The cash aid aims to help farmers cope with rising production costs and support their farming operations.
Eligible beneficiaries are registered under the Registry System for Basic Sectors in Agriculture (RSBSA), the government’s official database that serves as the gateway to agricultural programs and assistance.
Under the “Para sa Masaganang Bagong Pilipinas” vision, the agency continues to implement PAFFP across Northern Mindanao, ensuring that more eligible farmers receive timely government support to strengthen their livelihoods and sustain agricultural productivity.# (NQA)
