Agri NorMin thru RED Collado leads the groundbreaking ceremony in its research station, RCUD, for the establishment of an office building and farm machinery shed.

 

DANGCAGAN, BUKIDNON – Department of Agriculture-10 Regional Executive Director Carlene C. Collado led the groundbreaking ceremony for the office building and farm machinery shed amounting to P2.2 million at the agency’s Research Center for Upland Development (RCUD), Barongcot, Dangcagan, Bukidnon on Friday, March 4, 2022.

Of the said amount, P1.9 million is allocated for the office building with a total area of 154 square meters.

On the other hand, the 80 square meters farm machinery shed worth P329K will house the center’s agri machinery to keep them protected from the weather.

Director Collado said that the agency through its research station can better serve its clients aimed towards the effective delivery of agri services to the local government units and the farmer’s cooperatives and associations not only in the province of Bukidnon.

He further noted that the existing admin building in the center was built sometime in the 1960s and the new building will provide better working conditions among the personnel.

Also present in the ceremony were DA-10 Research Division Chief Cora A. Dumayaca, DA-10 Regional Agricultural Engineering Division Agri-Infra Section Chief Engr. Junel W. Ablanque, and other DA-10 personnel. #(MPMTablon)
