PhilMech, DA’s attached agency, spearheads a Training on the Operation and Maintenance of Rice Machinery attended by 24 FCA operators.

 

Department of Agriculture – Regional Field Office 10 (DA-10) Regional Executive Director Carlene C. Collado graced the five-day Training Course on the Operation and Maintenance of Rice Machinery by the Philippine Center for Postharvest Development and Mechanization in Lala, Lanao del Norte.

Attended by 24 farmer-cooperative and association (FCA) operators, the activity was spearheaded by DA’s attached agency through its Technology Management and Training and Facility Management and Field Operations divisions.

Of which, participants have learned land and seedling preparation, and mechanical transplanting with the use of different farm machineries through lectures and hands-on. # (AMBManto)
