DA-NorMin highlights its Kadiwa program during the Duterte legacy caravan held on April 28, 2022 at the headquarters of PRO 10, Camp Alagar, Lapasan, Cagayan de Oro City.

 

CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY – The Department of Agriculture – Regional Field Office 10 (DA-RFO 10) underscored its Kadiwa ni Ani at Kita program during the Duterte legacy caravan spearheaded by the Police Regional Office 10 at Camp Alagar, Lapasan on Thursday, April 28, 2022.

“With the activity highlighting the contributions and impact of the Duterte administration on the Filipinos, the agency brought the different farmers and fisherfolk-exhibitors for the conduct of a Kadiwa at the regional headquarters grounds,” explained DA-10 Regional Technical Director for Operations Carlota S. Madriaga.

DA-10 Regional Executive Director Carlene C. Collado said, Kadiwa is a marketing platform that provides a direct link between agricultural producers and consumers to gain access to quality, fresh, nutritious, and reasonable agri-fishery commodities, and other food products.

More than 1,500 individuals from various advocacy support groups and force multipliers were in attendance, who have also availed on-site services from the participating government agencies.

Besides the Kadiwa setup, assorted vegetable seeds were provided to the attendees to encourage more individuals and groups to support DA’s Plant, Plant, Plant Program or Ahon Lahat, Pagkaing Sapat laban sa COVID-19. # (JCAnito)
