CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY – The Department of Agriculture – Regional Field Office 10 (DA-RFO 10) participated in the prelude of the KUMBIRA 2022, a culinary arts and live cooking show on August 21, 2022 at Centrio Mall, here in this city.
Highlighted in the celebration is Tubong Mindanao which showcases the products of the island-region of Mindanao and the talented skills of its locals.
DA-RFO 10 OIC-Regional Executive Director Milo D. delos Reyes joined the event, highlighting that agriculture plays a central role in safeguarding the region’s food supply.
Meanwhile, Department of Tourism – 10 Regional Director Marie Elaine Unchuan expressed her gratitude to the agriculture sector for their contribution towards more limitless culinary adventures featuring various locally grown produce and catch.
Among the food displayed were value-added agri-fishery products such as tuna chicharon, tuna sardines and bangus, rice cakes, coffee, breads, and pastries.
