DA-PhilFIDA bares plans for abaca industry to DA-10 thru OIC-RTD for Research and Regulations, Cora A. Dumayaca.

 

CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY – DA-Philippine Fiber Industry Development Authority (PhilFIDA) led by its Deputy Executive Director Annray V. Rivera paid a courtesy visit to the Department of Agriculture – Northern Mindanao (DA-10) helmed by OIC-Regional Executive Director Carlene C. Collado, on March 2, 2023 at the agency compound.

Before OIC-Regional Technical Director Cora A. Dumayaca and Consultant Joel S. Rudinas of DA-10, Dir. Rivera tackled plant fibers, with a focus on improving local abaca production by strengthening borders as well as its research and development efforts on the uses and utilization of abaca.
