Baroy mayor Lim pays a courtesy visit to DA-10 exec seeking agri assistance for her constituents of said town, in Lanao del Norte province.

 

CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY – To strengthen the partnership between the local government and the agency towards agri-fishery development, the Department of Agriculture – Regional Field Office 10 (DA-RFO 10) headed by OIC-Regional Executive Director Carlene C. Collado, assured Mayor Grelina M. Lim of Baroy, Lanao del Norte of the department’s continued support to said municipality during her visit on March 28, 2023 at the agency compound.

The local chief executive sought assistance from Dir. Collado for the proposed validation areas for the cold storage and slaughter house projects under the Philippine Rural Development Project (PRDP) and Farm-to-Market Road (FMR) project under DA-10’s regular program.

Likewise tackled in the brief meeting are the windows of assistance under DA-PRDP that will help strengthen and develop viable agri-fishery-based enterprises of the town.

Further, Baroy Mayor Lim received 50 packets of assorted pinakbet seeds from the High Value Crops Development Program (HVCDP) of DA-10.# (RDMElloren)
