DA-10 employees participate in the blood donation drive spearheaded by CSC-10.

 

CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY – To instill civic spirit and the principle of donating blood as a humanitarian act, the Department of Agriculture – Regional Field Office 10 (DA-RFO 10) helmed by Regional Executive Director Carlene C. Collado joined the nationwide blood drive in time for the 123rd Philippine Civil Service Anniversary (PCSA) celebration, on September 19, at the Civil Service Commission (CSC) – Regional Office 10, in this city.

Bearing the theme “Dugtong Buhay, Handog ng Lingkod Bayan,” around 30 agri employees volunteered in support of the medical needs of others.

Said event likewise promoted the benefits of blood donation to employees’ health and wellness, as well as fosters synergistic efforts among government agencies through “Bayanihan” and “Malasakit sa Kapwa”.

Spearheading the event is CSC-10 in collaboration with the Northern Mindanao Medical Center (NMMC), with the participation of the agri department and other government offices in the city.# (RDMElloren)
