Agri NorMin supports restoration projects thru veggie seeds provision

 

CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY — In a bid to support restoration projects in the barangays of CdeO, the Department of Agriculture – Regional Field Office 10 (DA-RFO 10) provided vegetable seeds to the Safer River, Life Saver Foundation, Inc. (SRLSFI) on February 5.

A total of 250 packets of vegetable seeds comprising of Pinakbet (150 packets), Okra (50) and Pole Sitao (50 packets) were given to the SRLSFI through Boat Pilot Le Patigas by DA-10 Regional Technical Director for Operations Carlota S. Madriaga and High Value Crops Development Program focal person Kersten S. Pagalan.

The said provisions are aimed at helping the riverbank communities in Mambuaya, Lumbia and Tignapoloan to promote environmental preservation while also promoting food security. # (AMBM)
