DA-PRDP 10 holds a precon conference to LGU Kapatagan for the construction of its four subprojects.

 

Two of the subprojects include the construction of a Warehouse with Multipurpose Drying Pavement (MPDP) in barangays Suso and Mahayahay with a contract cost of Php 10,030,844.79 and Php 9,606,237.39, respectively.

The other subprojects include the construction of a Warehouse and Solar Dryer with MPDP in barangay Kahayagan with an amount of Php 9734,873.30 and the construction of a Warehouse and Solar Dryer in barangay Bansarvil with a cost of Php 9,526,149.19.

The said SPs are funded under the Additional Financing 2 (AF2) which will be beneficial to coconut, corn, and rice farmers of the said area.

DA-10 OIC-Regional Executive Director and DA-PRDP 10 Project Director Carlene C. Collado said that attendance at the PreCon, especially among officials of the barangay, is important in order to level off with all stakeholders involved with the PRDP guidelines in the SP implementation.

He also emphasized that the PreCon can be a venue to identify and address potential concerns in the implementation of the SPs. # (CRSeraspe)
