DA-10 launches online KADIWA market to expand access to quality, affordable agri-products
EL SALVADOR CITY, MISAMIS ORIENTAL — In its continued effort to modernize agricultural marketing and improve food accessibility, the Department of Agriculture – Regional Field Office 10 (DA-RFO 10), through its Agribusiness and Marketing Assistance Division (AMAD), officially launched its online KADIWA marketplace on Thursday, June 26, here.
The launch marks the digital expansion of the ongoing KADIWA sa DA, a regular on-site market held every Thursday at the department’s regional office grounds in Barangay Poblacion.
The platform, accessible via ekadiwada10.com, enables consumers to conveniently purchase fresh, locally produced agri-fishery goods from micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), and farmers’ cooperatives, associations (FCAs) in Northern Mindanao.
The online initiative aims to enhance market linkage, shorten the supply chain, and provide farmers and fisherfolk with improved opportunities for income generation, while ensuring affordable and quality products for consumers.
Free delivery services, scheduled every Thursday from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon and 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., are offered within a 10-kilometer radius from the DA-10 office.
