In her message, DA-10 Regional Technical Director for Operations and the Regional Convergence Initiative Focal Person Carlota S. Madriaga encouraged the agencies involved for a fruitful collaboration

“I hope that our agencies can also allocate funds in support for the operations of the National Convergence Initiative – Sustainable Rural Development (NCI-SRD) so we can achieve our goals in helping rural communities grow and uplift their lives.” Dir. Madriaga added.

NCI-SRD is the government’s response to the fragmented delivery of rural development services through watershed and major river basin management and rehabilitation using the ridge-to-reef approach which is beneficial for the communities for them to use their resources wisely, protect the environment, and improve their way of life.# (CRS)
